Digital signatures

ASURA has various forms and letters that include the signature of an officer or committee chair. This page explains how to find existing signatures and how to collect and store a new one.

Restricted use

Access to the Signatures folder referenced below is restricted to the Executive Committee, the Membership Committee Chair and those designated as "Board Support Staff" (Wild Apricot account administrators and Office Coordinators).  If you are not one of these, ask someone who is to do this for you.

Use an existing signature

  • When logged in and in "admin" mode in Wild Apricot, navigate to the Files section.
  • Locate and open the Signatures folder.
  • If the signature you need is there, right-click on it and choose download.

Collect a new signature

  • Ask the person whose signature you need to sign on a plain white paper, take a photo of it, and send it to you.
  • Crop the photo when you receive it so that there is only a narrow margin around it. Photo editing software on your phone or computer can be used for this purpose. For example "Paint" which comes standard on Windows computers.
  • Save the cropped signature as a JPEG or PNG file.
  • Add the saved file to the Signatures folder on Wild Apricot (see above).
