About the logos
ASU's standards for unit logos specify who may use official logos and for what purpose. There are versions of the logo for print and digital uses.
The main ASURA logo is available on Wild Apricot to those with administrative access. You must be logged in to Wild Apricot and in administrative mode for this link to work. Or you can navigate to the logo on Wild Apricot -- it is in the Pictures-ASURA Logo folder.
To access this and the logos from the ASU Brand Library, you must first request library access:
- Sign in to this Help for Volunteers site using the login in the top right and your ASURITE credentials. You must have been previously set up for access to the site for this to work.
- Go to the Helpful people page and note down the name and contact information of the person listed as our ASU Liaison.
- On the ASU Brand Library page, access the form for vendors. Complete and submit the form. Use our ASU Liaison as the "contact".
Once you have been approved for access you can go to directly to the library and log in with your ASURITE credentials via the white SSO (Single Sign-on) button. Search for the ASURA logos using the search term "retirees".
The library contains 20 versions of the logo. You should not try to create or use any other versions.
If you hold your cursor over a logo you can see its full name -- the last 3 characters will be either png (format for digital use) or eps (format for print use). You can also see icons in the lower left of the logo while hovering over it. Choose the download icon -- the one with a downward-pointing arrow -- to download the desired logo to your computer.
Use a logo
To use a logo from the library, copy it (there is no need to first download it) and then paste it in your document. Using Windows, this is done by right-clicking on the image and choosing "Copy image", which puts it on your clipboard.
Paste the image into the file where you want it. You can normally make it bigger or smaller by dragging on the corners after you paste it.
Do not crop the logo -- the space around the image is required.
Do not use
The logos stored in the Logo folder on ASURA's Wild Apricot site are used to match the look of the Wild Apricot pages and the Zenfolio website as closely as possible to the ASU standard. These logos should not be used for other purposes, as they may not conform to current standards.
