Updating document database

A number of documents used by the Video History Project are located on ASURA's Google drive and need periodic updating

The Video History Project Document Database is on ASURA's Google Drive and contains the documents used by the project. The Google Drive folder, named VideoHistory, houses the following six folders with links to the documents:

  • Copyright - the permission to use an interview template along with the filled in copies of those who got permission
  • Database - documents related to the status of the interviews including what interviews still need editing and metadata
  • Metadata - documents concerning the creation of metadata for the interviews
  • Pre-interview - documents used before the interview
  • Video Editing - various video editing checklists and guidelines
  • Zoom - the Zoom portion of interview with Peter Lafford

Those who need  to use the documents do so via links and buttons on various pages of this website and do not have to know anything about Google Drive. The documents can be printed/downloaded using the File menu which appears along with the document.

For those who maintain and update these documents they must log onto ASURA's Google Drive with editing privileges. Google login credentials are located on the Technology accounts page (if you do not have access or editing privileges contact the Technology manager).
