Public View menus
When Board Members, Office Staff, ASURA committee Chairs * Liaisons, and Wild Apricot Administrators log onto Wild Apricot they are given access to a set of menus not seen by other members ASURA members. The additional menu items are:
- Office Staff – this menu has information to help the office staff do their jobs. It includes information on handling events and the annual membership drive.
- Event Chairs – this menu has information for the event chairs including directions for creating new events on Wild Apricot.
- Policies/Procedures – this menu has a long list of the ASURA process, e.g., send e-mail blasts, running annual elections, operations checklist, and a link to material on how many of the committees and officers do their work.
- WA Maint – this menu contains instructions on how to maintain the Wild Apricot database.
- Web Maint – this menu contains instruction on how to maintain the main ASURA website
- Site Search – as the name implies this menu item lets you search the Wild Apricot website.
In order to manage events, send emails, adjust the website stetting, etc., members need various types of administrative privileges. Typically these privileges are assigned as:
- The Technology and Business Managers are given Full access
- The Office Staff are given Event manager authority,
- Event chairs are given Event manager authority,
- Membership & Obituary chairs are given Membership manager authority
- The Board Secretary is given, Event manager, Member manager, and Limited Web access authority so they can access the files s
